Appearance
Hazel has always been tall and lanky, even as a little girl. She stands at 175 centimeters without heels, though she isn’t opposed to wearing heels when she can, she has no problem with being tall. Hazel tends to keep her hair a light dirty blonde and cut at shoulder length, natural waves crimp her hair if she decides not to straighten it that day.
She has a relatively clear complexion, and that says a lot given she rarely wears makeup. She doesn’t see the need for pounds of foundation and prefers a more natural look. Her skin color isn’t necessarily pale, but she is by no means tanned, not that she can’t tan, she just doesn’t bother. Her striking green eyes are the center point, and the most noticeable trait she has.
Often, you will catch Hazel wearing comfortable yet adorable outfits. She isn’t afraid to accessorize, but she refuses to wear much jewelry aside from a couple of accent pieces. She can go from skinny jeans and a t-shirt to pumps, tights, a skirt, and blouse. It really depends on what mood she’s in that day.

Personality
At a glance, Hazel can seem hostile and unfriendly, well you would be one hundred percent right. She is guarded down to her very core and refuses to leave any weak links or bricks that might come tumbling down. Let’s just say she uses resistant brick and mortar to build her walls, not sticks and stones. You can’t bust through even with the heaviest equipment, however digging under isn’t entirely impossible. She might open to a very select few, and when she does, and that person betrays her. You might not want to be standing on the other side of her wand. While she loves to help people, she has no problem taking care of her own fights and standing up for herself. Her words can be like knives and you are simply target practice.
When and if you can break through her walls, you can find that she is one of kindest and compassionate person you might ever hope to meet. She would gladly lay down her life for her family and refuses to give in. She has a fire in her that is a passionate fighter and she doesn’t intend to lose that spirit anytime soon. Although, like any human being, witch and wizard alike she has her doubts. She has her fears, and she has her secrets.

History
Hazel was born August 4th in Ontario, Canada to her Canadian Muggle mother and Warlock English father. Her parents divorced while she was young, a little age two, and she didn’t see her father except for certain holidays. His work had him overseas in London, causing their ability to spend time together lacking. However, the moment that Hazel began to show signs of being a witch, her mother didn’t know what to do. She didn’t understand the system and with her husband not there to walk her through the process, she decided it would be best for Hazel to go to her father in London for a brief time to understand her other heritage.
It was there that she turned eleven and received her letter from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. At first, she was devastated that she had received this letter because it meant she’d be attending school so far away from her mother. The idea terrified her, but due to her father’s wishes to attend the best school, in his own opinion, she went along with the plan. The moment she set foot in Hogwarts she realized that maybe it wasn’t such a disaster. She was thrown into a situation, but she had control, she could decide how she fit in here and she can choose her own destiny. So, there she was, placed in Gryffindor. Her family now have a system of visits. During Holidays her mother would travel to London to celebrate with her and her father, during the school year Hazel would obviously be in school, and then during Summer she’d go to Ontario and live with her mother on the lake. It has been a perfect system, for the time being anyways.
