Christopher smirked. "You're good at reading and learning but lying isn't your expertise."

Isobel felt like a deer caught in headlights "Well..." she bit her lip "Maybe you're right, but..." she trailed off, she didn't know how to respond without looking foolish.

Christopher laughed as he watched her. "It's alright love. You have answered my question." He smirked slyly. He loved nothing more than a girl to be speechless in his presence.

Isobel stood then to face him "I think you know very well you're good looking, but it certainly doesn't make up for the cold personality you have..." she said and then felt like she was going to passout. She'd never snapped at anyone like that before, but he had just made her so angry...

Christopher raised an eyebrow at her, he was no longer smiling. "Cold personality?" Why was she suddenly angry with him? Was she right? Did everyone else think he had a cold personality?

Christopher watched her with confused eyes. "You got that from spending three minutes with me?" He asked furrowing his brows. "Tell me how, Isobel."

Christopher raised an eyebrow. "I don't believe I do. It it wrong that I think you're adorable?" It was funny, she was blaming her embarrassment on him although technically it was fault. He had an idea that she had a crush on him.

That took Isobel back and she looked at him skeptically for a long second "I am not adorable" she said "I'm angry" though the way she said it sounded more like a mouse squeak, or how you might imagine a bunny with a fluffy tail might speak.

Christopher smirked watching her. "I beg to differ. You clearly don't see it but I do. Even when you're angry."

Isobel frowned and bit her lip "Well... okay" she said and sat down, looking at her book again trying to ignore him now.

Christopher watched her in confusion. "Okay so now you're pretending I don't exist. Ouch." He smirked. "You really know how to hurt a man."

Isobel looked over at him and sighed "Is there something you need then?" She asked, trying to be polite.

Christopher smirked. "So you think I need something from you because I'm talking to you?" He asked in confusion.
