Appearance
Christopher is a tall young man, standing at 6'1 with an athletic build which girls love. He keeps an exercise schedule at home and is physically strong and muscular. He has thick curly brown hair that he tends to style with gel every day and big blue eyes. He is pale skinned, if he is outside for long periods in the sun in hot weather then he will get sunburnt.
He hates to wear the uniform. Oustside of school hours when not wearing robes he dresses casually unless it's a formal occasion or a date. T-shirts and jeans are his favourite type of clothing. He doesn't own any jewellery but he wouldn't wear anything if he did. He has no tattoos and never will get one.
Chris always liked to wear clothes that would cover any marks he might have during his father's abuse. If no one could see anything he would pretend everything was normal.

History
Chris was born to English parents Sophie and Charlie Deveraux in London, England. He is a pureblood wizard and his family has always been strictly Slytherin. His father is perpetually a cold distant man, nobody could get close to him. He is stern at the assertion of authority and exercise of discipline. He was particularly cruel to Chris and he never understood why until one day his father couldn't keep it inside any longer. Charlie heard the rumours that a witch had an affair with a muggle and somehow his family were accused. He believed them over his wife who pleaded with him to listen, that it wasn't her.
Then he was convinced his youngest son was a product of the affair so he rejected him completely. His brutality worsened. Christopher was getting hit with a belt on a regular basis for even the littlest mistakes. His hatred was apparent. When Chris started attending Hogwarts he flirted, kissed and had sex with girls that were muggle born, especially Gryffindors just to spite his father. He still does.

Christopher wasn't the only person subject to the abuse, Sophie was punched by her husband for nothing. He was fed up with his father's cruelty and refusal to believe the truth. He suddenly snapped and in a fit of rage to defend his mother hit Charlie. He had to live with another family member for a while before he could go back to house, which he didn't want.
Due to those rumours that he isn't a pureblood, some students won't speak to him or they look at him with disdain. He doesn't care, in his own words he wants friends that will accept him for who he is, not who they want him to be. With his own experience he is fair.
